Helen Aragon

Helen Mary Aragon, age 79, passed away peacefully on October 9, 2011 at her home in Albuquerque, NM. Helen was born on August 17, 1932 in Mosquero, NM to the home of Jose and Remegia (Montoya) Baca. She married Filidelphio Aragon in November of 1951 in Roy, NM. Helen and Filidelphio made their home in Santa Rosa where they managed the Santa Rosa Apartments for 25 years. They made their home in Albuquerque in 2008. Helen was a parishioner at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church. She was also a member of the Campos Senior Citizens where she spent countless hours playing pool. She loved playing bingo, fishing and going to the casinos. She is preceded in death by her parents and her daughter, Nora Trujillo. She is survived by her husband Filidelphio of the home in Albuquerque, her sons; Philip and wife Susan Aragon of Albuquerque, Bobby and wife Arlene Aragon of Mosquero, her grandchildren, Sabrina Trujillo, Crystal Trujillo, Robert Aragon, Jolene Aragon, David and wife Heather Montoya, her great grandchildren, Maryah Montoya, Sean Montoya and Michael Anthony Aragon. Also surviving are numerous relatives and friends. Rosary services will be held at 9:30 AM, Saturday, October 15, 2011 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Santa Rosa the Funeral Mass will follow and burial will take place at St. Joseph Cemetery. Pallbearers will include; Pete Lopez, George Trujillo, Bert Mata, Joseph Mata , Alex Lopez and Nick Archuleta.
