Rosary services for Fabiola R. Gallegos, 73 of Santa Rosa, NM will be held at 10:30 AM Tuesday, August 30, 2011 from St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Santa Rosa, NM. Mass will follow at 11:00 AM with Father Joseph Thomas officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Matthew Lopez,and Duane Velasquez, Danny Lujan, Navor Selgado, Rudy Marquez and Andrew Carabajal. Visitation hours will be Sunday and Monday from 1PM to 6PM at the funeral home and one hour prior to the funeral Mass on Tuesday. Fabiola was born May 27,1938 in Milagro, NM to the home of Ted and Catalina (Marquez) Russell. She is a 1957 Graduate of Santa Rosa High School, she married George Gallegos on November 15, 2006 in Albuquerque, NM. Her hobbies included sewing, needlepoint, and most of all she loved to dance. Everyone that knew said she was always full of joy.. Mrs. Gallegos died Wednesday evening at her home following an illness. She is a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Santa Rosa and a member of Las Hijas De Maria. Fabiola is preceded in death by her mother Catalina M. Baca on January 15, 1978, her father Ted Russell and a brother Enrique Russell and her sister Aurora (Russell) Herrera. Survivors include her husband George Gallegos of the family home; a daughter Caroline Bosland of Lake City, Florida; two sons Benjie Selgado of Albuquerque, NM and Albino Selgado of Santa Rosa. Also surviving are two sisters Maria Russell of Colorado Springs, CO and Stella Lujan of Albuquerque, NM; four nieces Sally Ragsdale of Kansas City, MO; Sandra Tenorio-Medina of Pueblo, CO; Melanie Ebel of Camp Hill, PA; and Irene Russell of Albuquerque, NM; four nephews Isaac Russell of Colorado Springs, CO; Daniel Lujan, Max Lujan, Chris Lujan all of Albuquerque; ten grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren also survive along with a host of other relatives and many friends.
