Victoria M. Romo, age 84, passsed away on May 25, 2011 at the Guadalupe County Hospital following an illness. Victoria was born February 26, 1927 in Villanueva, NM to the home of Bruno and Silverina (Olguin) Romo. She enjoyed baking, sewing, and watching her soap operas on TV. She worked as a House Keeper for many years for Mrs. H.L. Gallegos and at various motels. Victoria is preceded in death by her parents, 2 infants; Christina and Isidro, her sisters; Juanita Romo and Nea Aragon, her brother in law; Hilario Aragon, her nephews; Benito Aragon, Rick Aragon, Bruno Aragon, and Rick Romo and her great nephew; Edward Romo. Survivors include her daughters; Terry Baca and husband Narcisco of Dahlia, NM, Sara Lopez and husband Fred of Rio Rancho, Mary Ann Angel and husband Steve from San Jon, Mary Alice Aragon and husband Eric of Santa Rosa, her sons; Thomas Romo and Louie Romo both of Santa Rosa, Pat Cowan and wife Christina of Albuqueruqe and her sister Virginia Romo of Clovis. Also surviving are 13 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and a host of relatives and friends. Rosary services will be held on Friday, May 27, at 7:00 PM from St. Rose Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, May 28, at 8:30 AM also from St. Rose Church with Father Joseph Thomas, CMI officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. Serving as Pallbearers will be; Eric Aragon, Jr., Jason Aragon, Bryan Aragon, Leon Trujillo, Gabriel Angel and Marc Lopez. Serving as Honorary Pallbearers will be; Eric Aragon, Sr., Steve Angel, Narcisco Baca, Amanda Cowan, Alicia Hernandez, Toby Angel, Alan Angel and Fred Lopez.
