Henry Jaramillo

Henry Benito Jaramillo, age 64, passed away January 19, 2011 at Presbyterian Hospital in Albuquerque following a sudden illness. Henry was born on July 18, 1946 in Anton Chico, NM to the home of Vicente and Amalia (Sisneros) Jaramillo. He was reared in Anton Chico and attended schools in Anton Chico, Las Vegas and Santa Rosa. He married Helen Gallegos on September 25, 1967 in Villanueva, NM. Henry worked for House Co-op, Martinez Gas and was recently working for J.R.’s Striping. He loved ranching; doing leather craft, but his greatest joy was taking care of his grandchildren. Henry is preceded in death by his parents, his Uncles; Encarnacion Sisneros, Francisco Sisneros, Casimiro Sisneros, Vicente Sisneros, Sylvano Sisneros and his Aunt; Natividad Sisneros. Survivors include his wife Helen of the family home in Santa Rosa, his daughters; Karen Jaramillo, Henrietta Jaramillo, Karla Rael, Julie Jaramillo all of Santa Rosa and Johanna Jaramillo and Giovanni Lopez of Maui, Hawaii, his grandchildren; Maria, Benito, Enrique, Marisol and Celina, his brothers and sisters; Vicenta Lucero of Anton Chico, Pasqual Jaramillo and wife Theresa of Clovis, Tillie Jaramillo, Ignacio Jaramillo, Mary Sandoval, Sylvia Garduno and husband Peter all of Las Vegas, NM as well as numerous nieces, nephews and a host of relatives and friends. Rosary services will be conducted on Sunday, January 23 at 7:00 from St. Rose Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, January 24, at 10:00 AM also from St. Rose Church with Father Anthony P. Bolman officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. Serving as Pallbearers will be; Barney Jaramillo, Mario Villanueva, Ralph Lucero, Tim Cordova, Bobby Ortega, Giovanni Lopez and Joe Cano.
